Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") establishes the standards and guidelines for all users of RealVoiceover.com (the "Platform"). This AUP applies to all users, including voice artists, clients, and visitors. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Violation of this AUP may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

2. Lawful and Professional Use

RealVoiceover is intended exclusively for legitimate professional voiceover portfolio presentation, talent discovery, and project inquiries. Users must: (a) use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws; (b) conduct themselves professionally and respectfully in all communications; (c) submit accurate and truthful information in their profiles and inquiries; and (d) respect the intellectual property rights and privacy of other users.

3. Prohibited Content

Users may not upload, post, transmit, or share content that: (a) is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, harassing, threatening, or abusive; (b) promotes hatred, violence, discrimination, or harm against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic; (c) contains sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene material; (d) infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary right of any party; (e) contains malware, viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or any other malicious code; (f) constitutes unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or spam; (g) invades the privacy of any third party; or (h) impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform: (a) scraping, crawling, indexing, or harvesting any user profile data, contact information, portfolio content, or Platform data through automated means; (b) creating multiple duplicate accounts to evade restrictions, manipulate search visibility, or engage in deceptive practices; (c) using automated scripts, bots, or software to interact with the Platform; (d) sending bulk, unsolicited, or harassing messages to other users; (e) engaging in fraudulent activity including fake identities, false project inquiries, or misrepresented credentials; (f) attempting to bypass security measures, access controls, or content restrictions; (g) interfering with the operation of the Platform, including overloading servers or networks; (h) using the Platform for competitive intelligence gathering, market research, or any purpose other than legitimate voiceover professional activity; and (i) facilitating or encouraging any violation of this AUP by third parties.

5. Content Standards

All content uploaded to the Platform must: (a) be accurate and not misleading; (b) be owned by the uploader or properly licensed for display; (c) be of professional quality and suitable for a business audience; (d) not contain false or unsubstantiated claims about experience, credentials, or past work; (e) not include contact information intended to circumvent Platform communication channels for fraudulent purposes; and (f) comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding audio, video, and image content.

6. Account Security and Responsibility

Users are responsible for: (a) maintaining the security and confidentiality of their login credentials; (b) all activities that occur under their account; (c) promptly reporting any unauthorized access or security breaches to RealVoiceover; (d) ensuring that their account information remains accurate and current; and (e) not sharing their account credentials with unauthorized third parties.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately through the Contact Us page or by emailing support@realvoiceover.com. We encourage users to help maintain a safe and professional community by reporting suspicious, abusive, or prohibited activity. RealVoiceover will review all reports and take appropriate action as determined in our sole discretion.

8. Enforcement and Consequences

RealVoiceover reserves the right to take any action we deem appropriate in response to AUP violations. Consequences may include, without limitation: (a) removal of specific content or portfolio items; (b) temporary account suspension; (c) permanent account termination; (d) limitation of Platform features or visibility; (e) reporting to appropriate law enforcement or regulatory authorities; and (f) legal action as warranted. We reserve the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities in investigating any illegal activity conducted through the Platform.

9. Appeals

If you believe your account has been suspended or content removed in error, you may submit an appeal to support@realvoiceover.com. We will review appeals promptly and respond with our determination, which shall be final and binding in our sole discretion.

10. Modifications to This Policy

RealVoiceover may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
